Grade 1 Activities



The Grade 1 learners rotate between activities. They get divided into 4 groups and they get a chance to do a specific activity with our trained staff.

There are professional lifeguards on duty and the learners are fully monitored throughout the excursion.



The Grade 1 learners learn about beach safety and sun safety. They also get a pictograph based on number of different shells they can find on the beach.

The learners get story sequence cards about pollution and learn how to help prevent pollution on our beaches and in our oceans.

 

The Grade 1 learners get a chance to play in the water (ankle deep) with lifeguard supervision and a chance to play ball games and build castles in the sand. Our staff monitors each child and assists him or her with activities.
