Grade 2 Activities
Grade 2 learners also rotate in 4 groups with different activities. They get a chance to explore rockpools with their guide that explains what creatures they can find in there also what they eat and what their purpose in the rockpool is.
They can bring their own goggles to explore what it looks like underwater in the rockpools under the supervision of a lifeguard.
The Grade 2 learners then get a tick sheet of the creatures in the rockpools so that they can identify them and see what different creatures they get in different rockpools.
The Grade 2 learners then get laminating cards about the ocean food chain that they build in their groups.
The learners get a chance to play throwing games and play in the sand and play in the water (ankle deep) under the supervision of a lifeguard.
