What Else to know......
Life Guards
We have trained life guards on duty at all times while classes interact with water activities.
Cape Kids Eco Adventure offers a service which enhances the curricculum through practical fieldwork and experimental learning. Our focus is on fostering appreciation of the natural environment, as well as the status and sustainable use of our coastal and marine resources.
We can accommodate 2 Classes at a time of +- 60 learners.
We are based on the beaches of Muizenberg and Simons Town
Environmental Education & Adventure outings options for each Grade +- 3-4 hours.
Our outings are tailor made for each grade and cover all the learning outcomes of the Revised National Curriculum statement.
Learners work in small groups and are involved in a series of practical tasks.
Each outing takes place in a different location so that the children can return each year and have a unique and new experience.
Each outing also includes environmental education and eco-adventure activities.
We visit the Navy and the Penguin boulders. We also teach children to help nature and to reduce pollution.
First Aid
All our staff are first Aid qualified and ready for any situation that may occur.
Our Moto...
We inspire children to achieve their goals and to work in teams or groups. We encourage children to look after nature and our precious sea life. We will also do some community service by cleaning our beaches and saving animal life in our oceans and on the land.
